Edith I. Bollinger, 91, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024, at Cornwall Manor. She was the wife of Robert B. Bollinger, to whom she was married for 69 years.

Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Katie (Shonk) Patches.

Edith was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardens, growing her own gladiolas and African violets, and attending flower shows. She was a member of South Lebanon Community Church, where she was a deacon’s wife, taught Sunday school, and oversaw Bible school picnics.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ronald Bollinger, and wife, Kathleen, and Bruce Bollinger, and wife, Beverly, both of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Miriam Wege; and one daughter-in-law, Dawn Bollinger.

Edith was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Bollinger; three brothers, Ralph Patches, Leroy Patches, and Luke Patches; and one sister, Verna Brubaker.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. from South Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Church and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at the Church.
