Edith M. “Edie” Kreiser passed away peacefully on Jan. 7, 2024, at the age of 97, at Lebanon Valley Home, Annville.
She was born on April 2, 1926, in Lebanon, PA, to the late David and Minerva Bashore (Iceman).
Edith, a devoted homemaker, dedicated her life to creating a loving family and nurturing a warm and welcoming home. Her unconditional love and selflessness touched the hearts of all who knew her. With grace and kindness, she exuded a gentle presence that made everyone feel loved and cared for.
She was involved with the Flower Club and an active member of Hebron United Methodist Church.
With deep sadness, Edith leaves behind her beloved son, Kenneth Kreiser, and daughter-in-law, Betsy Kreiser; grandchildren, Lisa Irwin, Timothy Kreiser, and Beth Reddinger, and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Joshua Irwin, Alexandria Reddinger, Sawyer Reddinger, Marley Kreiser, and Tyler York; great-great-grandchildren, Jessie Irwin, Lincoln Irwin, and Nevaeh Reddinger; and brother, Robert Bashore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin R. Kreiser; great-grandchild, Matthew Irwin; and brothers, David Bashore, Henry Bashore, Paul Bashore, and George Bashore.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon Valley Home, Benevolent Fund, 550 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003.
In honoring Edith’s memory, her family invites friends and loved ones to pay their respects at the visitation to be held on Jan. 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m., also at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc. Edith will be laid to rest at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA, at 1:30 p.m. on the same day.
