Edna “Claire” Earle, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, at the age of 93, at Cornwall Manor.
Born on Jan. 30, 1932, in Abington, PA, to the late Francis and Edna (Fritz) Biddle, Claire was a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, having made Lebanon her home for many years.
A woman of active community involvement, Claire served as a teacher’s aide at South Lebanon Elementary School, leaving a positive impact on the lives of many children. Her dedication to her church community was evident through her active participation and role as a den mother. Claire also enjoyed reading and playing games and was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 60 years.
She is survived by her son, Keith R. Earle, and daughter-in-law, Mary F. Earle; son, Daniel M. Earle, and daughter-in-law, Lori A. Earle; and daughter, Pamela L. Flory, and son-in-law, Gene Flory. Claire’s legacy also lives on through her grandchildren, Lauren Earle, Seth Earle, Luke Earle, Nathaniel Flory, Samantha Earle, and Brett Flory; as well as her two great-grandchildren, Lila and Hazel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Earle Jr.; and son, Brian Earle.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Claire’s life at the following services: a visitation will be held on June 6, 2025, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lebanon, at 10 a.m. A graveside service will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA, following the service.
