Edward C. Miller, 67, of Jonestown, passed away on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, at Carolyn’s House Hospice near Harrisburg.

Born in Lebanon on Sept. 3, 1953, he was the son of Arlene R. Yorty Miller of Jonestown and the late Claude L. Miller, Jr. Ed retired in 2019 from The Hershey Company. He was a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School with the Class of 1971. Ed was an avid car enthusiast, winning many awards at car shows. He enjoyed numerous hobbies including model rocketry, expert model building (cars, rockets, etc.), and cabinetry. He was well known for his attention to detail in all of these activities. He wrote a number of articles for model rocketry magazines regarding his building and painting methods. He also enjoyed pyrotechnics.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Frederick D., and his wife, Lena Miller, of North Versailles, PA, and his niece and nephew, Cassandra and Eric.

Services will be held privately. Ed will be buried at the St. John’s United Methodist Church Cemetery in Grantville.
