Edward R. “Ted” Thomas, 74, of Annville, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. He is survived by his loving companion of 28 years, Peggy L. Madenford.
Ted was born in Washington DC on December 16, 1945, to the late Edward John and Anna Louise (Fletcher) Thomas. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from The University of Maryland. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He had worked as a programmer/computer analyst for The Department of the Army. He enjoyed going to the gym, walking, attending baseball games, and traveling to their beach house in Florida.
He is survived by his daughters, Ginger Alansky of Ormond Beach, FL, Lindsay Beyler and her husband Justin of Lebanon, five grandchildren, Sterling, Saige, Jacqueline, Blake, Taylor, and his sisters, Barbara Brown and Sandy Simpson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael Thomas and Peggy Simoes, and a granddaughter, Sierra.
A graveside will be held privately.
