Eleanor F. Yeingst, 95, of Lebanon, passed away at her home on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Yeingst, who passed away in 2015.

Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. Glancy and Anna K. (Hickok) Trautman. Eleanor worked as a baker at the former Cookie Corner, as a chocolatier at Chocolate World, and as a member of the catering services of Hershey Park in the Arena. She enjoyed flower gardening and was an avid reader. Eleanor completed the daily crossword puzzle in the Lebanon and Harrisburg newspapers and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Mervin M. Fansler III, and wife, Bonita, G. Edward Fansler, and wife, Ann, Michael L. Fansler, and wife, Sue, Robert A. Yeingst, and wife, Robin, Catherine Irwin, and Daniel J.P. Yeingst, and wife, Jodi; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Warren “Butch” Trautman, and partner, Lois Werner; and sisters, Sarah “Sally” Sell and Rhea “Babe,” wife of Charlie Smith.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her sons, Evan M. Fansler and Scott P.C. Yeingst; sister, Patricia Glancy; and brother-in-law, Lee Sell.
