Eleanor (Kay) Gerber, born Oct. 3, 1953, died peacefully on the morning of Oct. 23, 2024, at the age of 71, at Select Specialty Hospital in Holy Spirit Penn State in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, with her beloved husband and daughter by her side.

Kay loved traveling with Daryl, especially to visit people she loved. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren so very much. She loved time with her family and enjoyed many lifelong friendships. She enjoyed entertaining in her beautiful home. She was very involved in Grace Point Evangelical Free Church and was endeared by her church family. She loved listening to worship music and going to worship concerts with Daryl. She was known for her hospitality and loved decorating and making her house a home. She especially loved decorating for the Christmas season. She was raised by entrepreneurs and had an entrepreneurial spirit herself. While raising a family in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, she owned and operated Sparkling Touch Cleaning Service. After returning home from the midwest, Kay made a career of helping the elderly and their families plan for retirement and estate management. She is well respected and loved by many for her services to their families.

Kay is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Daryl Gerber, of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, two children, Roby Arnold of Louisburg, Missouri, and Marsha Bates (husband, David Bates), of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; three stepchildren, Erin McKinney (husband, Marc McKinney), of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, Kelly Searing (husband, Karl Searing), of Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Josh Gerber (wife, Erin Gerber), of Canon City, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn Wolfe (wife, Susan Wolfe), of Middletown, Delaware, and Doug Wolfe (wife, Marta Hawthorne-Wolfe), of St. Louis, Missouri; father-in-Law, George Gerber, and mother-in-Law, Winifred Gerber, of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; and sister-in-law, Heather Gerber, of West Chester, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Wolfe (2007) and Charlotte Wolfe (2021), of Palmyra, Pennsylvania.

While her presence will be greatly missed by those closest to her, they rest assured she has met her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven, her forever home. She believed wholeheartedly in the Gospel, and her goal in life was to see all of her family come to know Christ.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Grace Point Evangelical Free Church, 740 Leon Ave., Palmyra, Pennsylvania. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to her service at the Church.
