Elizabeth C. Rutter, 101, of Annville, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, September 4, 2021, in the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Raymond S. Light, Sr., and the late Gordon Rutter.

Born in Hummelstown, PA. on August 9, 1920, to the late Harvey and Ruth Rauch Zimmerman. She was a domestic housekeeper for 40 years for the Hyman S. Caplan Family and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Risser of Lebanon.

Elizabeth was a member of the Annville Church of the Brethren where she had served on the kitchen committee, she was a former member of the Red Hat Society of Lebanon. She enjoyed crocheting (having made numerous table clothes for her family and Baptismal dresses for great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and a friend or two), as well as swimming and volunteering for the former Youth for Christ.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane Smith wife of the late Marlin Smith, of Lebanon, two sons, Gene R. Light and wife Fran, of Lebanon, Richard E. Light, of FL., husband of the late Linda Light, Daughter-in-law Betty Light, of FL., and a sister Susan Anne Rockwell, of Belmont, CA.
She was preceded in death by Raymond S, Light, Jr., of FL., 7 brothers and 6 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 10th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
