Ella M. Lavia, 87, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Lavia.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on Oct. 16, 1937, Ella was a daughter of the late John and Ann (Matasich) Malley. She enjoyed sewing, baking, reading, and spending time with family.

Ella is survived by her children, Kathleen Hurst, wife of Brian, Joseph Lavia, fiancé of Faith Williams, and Rebecca Stoffer, wife of Eric; grandchildren, David Hurst, Kevin Hurst, Megan Groff, and Samantha Stoffer; six great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Jessen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Malley Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
