Ellen Victoria Buchanio, nee Weiant, 77, of Myerstown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Born in Richland, PA, on Dec. 8, 1948, Ellen was a daughter of the late Israel and JoAnn Derr. She was the devoted wife of Charles P. Buchanio, with whom she shared 36 years of marriage, and was the beloved mother of two sons.

Ellen was a 1966 graduate of ELCO High School. She was employed as a legal secretary and administrative assistant for several law firms, which eventually included her husband’s practice. Ellen had a zest for life and cultivated several close friendships through the years. Her closest relationships, however, were with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved beyond measure.

In addition to her husband, Ellen is survived by her sons, Ash K. Kline, husband of Heather, and Stephen S. Kline, husband of Stephanie; grandchildren, Peyton Sanchez, wife of Matthew, Brody, Sadie, and Kane Kline, and Logan, Payton, and Miles Buchanio; brother, Julian Weiant, husband of Debra; and sister, Sandra Kissinger, wife of Wyman.
