Elmer Weidman Jr., 89, of Myerstown, PA, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at StoneRidge Poplar Run. He was the husband of Barbara A. Weidman, to whom he was married on Jan. 15, 1955.

Born in Myerstown, PA, on Aug. 2, 1936, he was a son of the late Elmer H. and Florence (Knier) Weidman. Elmer was a graduate of the first graduating class of ELCO High School in 1955. He was employed by Carlos Leffler Heating Oil in the maintenance department for many years until his retirement. Elmer enjoyed shooting clay pigeons.

In addition to his wife, Elmer is survived by his sons, E. David Weidman, husband of Denise, of Florida, and Donald C. Weidman, husband of Debra, of Richland, PA; grandsons, David Weidman and Doug Weidman; great-granddaughter, Kylie; step-grandchildren, David and Dana; and brother, Ronald Weidman, husband of Anita, of Myerstown.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Weidman; and sister, Anna Hackman.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
