In referring to her times of prayer, Elsie would say, (with a twinkle in her eye and a quick chuckle) God would respond to her calls with , “Oh no, Elsie, not you again.”

Elsie Irene Miller, daughter of George and Rosanna Miller, worked in Lebanon, PA as a secretary and bookkeeper before retiring. She loved doing crossword puzzles (the difficult ones), and was an avid fan of Frank Sinatra & Robert Redford. At age 90, she still liked catching up on celebrity gossip by reading The Star and The National Enquirer magazines. She enjoyed playing gin rummy and getting her nails done. She was sensitive, thoughtful and so appreciative for any kindness shown to her.

Elsie is preceded in death by her son William L. and granddaughter Atessa, brothers; James, Carl, Robert David, and sisters; Jo Miller, Arlene Frey, Betty Hemperly, and Marie Ream.

Surviving is her son James R. and sister, Sandy Itkor, along with many nieces and nephews.

Her sense of humor and love for others will leave a lasting memory in all the hearts she touched, including family, friends and caregivers. Dear Elsie, may you rest in the peaceful arms of the God who loves you.

Elsie will be laid to rest at Mt. Annville Cemetery.
