Elsie M. Light, 91, of Lebanon, died on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at her home. Born on Wednesday, June 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Lyle Minnich and Edna Minnich nee Strausser, of Pine Grove.
Elsie graduated from Pottsville School of Nursing as a registered nurse. Elsie was devoted to her family and was an excellent seamstress, homemaker and was involved with the Lebanon Historical Society and VBS. She was a member of Suedberg Church of God.
She is survived by husband Herbert C. Light, daughter Alice L. Light and fiance Rev. Richard Morris, and her rabbit, Chandler.
A viewing will be on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at 2:30 PM at Kimmerling’s Cemetery.
