Elzalena M. Ditzler, 80, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Juniper Village. She was the wife of the late David M. Ditzler Jr., who passed away in 2004.

Elzalena was born in Lebanon on Jan. 30, 1945, to the late Charles A. McConnell II and Mildred L. (Graby) McConnell.

Elzalena was a 1963 graduate of Annville-Cleona High School. She retired after 33 ½ years from the PA Public Utility Commission as a manager. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon, Order of the Amaranth, and AMVETS. She enjoyed shopping.

Elzalena is survived by her stepchildren, David M. Ditzler III and Deborah M. Roub; two grandchildren; siblings, Charles A. McConnell III, of Sarasota, FL, and Maureen Ruhl (John), of Renova, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Elzalena was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Hoffman.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors.
