Emila Celestin, 75, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, at home.
Born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, on Feb. 27, 1950, Emila was a daughter of the late Antenor and Paulina (Polidor) Celestin. She enjoyed the simple things in life, from watching movies to listening to the funky sounds of the ’70s to coloring on her iPad, but she also liked to shake things up a little and play the slots on her phone. Her hobbies brought her joy, and those who knew her will remember her fondly with that joy.
Emila is survived by her brother, Riolet Celestin, husband of Marie; sister, Marie Severe; nieces, Hervinah Celestin, Jenessa Pierre, wife of Gary Furnace, Sarah Broderick, wife of Niko Broderick, and Johanne Senat; nephews, Wiskay Pauleus, husband of Jennifer Scaramuzzino, Jiverson Pauleus, husband of Stephanie Rivera, Reginald Celestin, Irwing Senat, Carlos M. Senat, Riolet Senat, Lucien M. Senat, and Robert-Guerdy Celestin; great-nieces, Eden Furnace, Ari Furnace, and Gia Furnace; brothers-in-law, Patrick Casimir and Jean Joseph; and sister-in-law, Nadine Casimir.
Viewing hours will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Kimmerlings Cemetery.
