Emma M. Lawson, 71, of Jonestown, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Leonard L. Lawson.

Born in Lebanon, PA on January 19, 1950, Emma was a daughter of the late James and Sallie (Wagner) Irwin. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Emma is survived by two children, Ann Marie McDonald and Jessica Ann Lawson, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a sister, Laura Jane Irwin Lytle, and three brothers, James Monroe Irwin, Samuel Harry Irwin, and Gary Robin Irwin.

Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20th at St. Mary’s Church, 2 North 8th St., Lebanon. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
