Emory G. Meyerhoffer, 74, of Grantville, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at his home.

Born in Rockwood on March 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Emory H. Meyerhoffer and Alice G. Peiffer Bowman.

Emory served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked as a welder for Cleaver Brooks and then retired from Hershey. He was a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion and the VFW.

He is survived by his daughter, Jade R. Meyerhoffer, of Forest Hill, MD; his brother, John Meyerhoffer, of Crossville, TN; and his sister, Connie Hummel, of Soddy Daisy, TN.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A procession will be leaving at 11 a.m. from Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown.
