Ernest D. Wike, 76, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
He was born on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1947, to the late Robert Wike and Eva Fox Wike in Lebanon.
Ernest was an amazing father and a hard worker; he worked as a cutter at a shoe factory until his retirement. After he retired, Ernest liked to enjoy his time watching the Philadelphia Phillies, playing poker, traveling when he could, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elsa E. Miller Wike; children, Lisa Reitz, and husband, Richard, and Jamie Ream, and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Hannah Reitz, Dylan Reitz, Graycyn Ream, and Brayden Ream; siblings, Richard Wike and Florence Felty; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the family’s convenience.
