Esther V. Bowman, 91, of Palmyra, died Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late George F. Bowman.

Born in North Londonderry Township on August 9, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John B. Brandt and the late Bertha Umberger Brandt. She worked as a Secretary at George F. Bowman, Inc.

Esther was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Cleona, and a member of the Cleona Women’s Club. She enjoyed bowling, word search, counted cross-stitching, square dancing, playing games, doing puzzles, and spending time with her family. She and George enjoyed spending many days at The Silver Fox Lodge with family and friends.

Surviving is a son, Larry D. Bowman, husband of Brenda L. of Lebanon; three daughters, Karen Reed of St. Louis, MO, Ayla Rose of Nevada City, CA, Lorraine, wife of Jeffrey of Palmyra; nine grandchildren, Tracy, Jonathan, Aaron, Rigel, Tara, Jamie, Bradley, Kimberlee, Cassidy; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a brother, Norman Brandt, two sisters, Alma Skiles, Marian Miller, and a son-in-law, James Reed.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown.
