Ethel A. Kohr, 83, formerly of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Spang Crest Manor. She was the wife of the late David F. Kohr Sr.

Born in Lebanon on Jan. 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Bessie E. Wagner Leeper.

Ethel retired as a bookkeeper from Ron Shirk Gun Shop after 37 years of service. She was a member of the Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her brothers, Frank R., husband of Barbara Leeper, of Manheim, and William Leeper, of Jonestown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, David K. “Tubby” Kohr Jr.; brothers, Herman, Morris, Harold “Nick,” and Charles Leeper; and her sisters, Bessie Stamm, Ruby Leeper, and Charlotte Kohr.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A viewing will be held an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Township.
