Eugene A. Lippert, 89, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Ethel G. Weierbach Lippert. On June 13th, they celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on April 24, 1933, he was the son of the late Joseph and Grace Reager Lippert.
Eugene was the owner and operator of the former Lebanon Reupholstering Co. He had been a member of the former Tabor Church. He was also a member and former president of the Rescue Fire Co., #4, the Rescue Social Club, the Fireman’s Association, Navy Club, V.F.W., and many other organizations.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Arlen E. and his wife Sandra Lippert of Fairfax Station, VA, and Kene L. and his wife Christine Lippert of E. Petersburg; sisters Olivia Snyder of Bethel and Olive Horn of Lebanon; grandchildren LaRue, Allison, Joseph, Logan, and Luke; great grandchildren Elora, Sabrina, Seth, Adam and Zachary; and great-great grandchildren Enzo, Gatlin, and Harlee.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Delma L. Lippert-Young and his great-great grandson Charles Truax, IV.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
