Eugene C. Herr, 71, of Lebanon, died on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at his home.

He was born on Thursday, Feb. 10, 1949, to the late Oscar Herr and Lucy Herr nee Schwear in Lebanon. He was a member of Zion of Iona United Methodist and was a veteran of the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed constructing plastic models of cars, tractors, and creating farms to scale with precision. Eugene was a firefighter with Friendship Fire Company and involved with the South Lebanon Fire Police. He liked the rodeo and watching western movies, especially John Wayne and Gene Autry.

Surviving are wife, Vicki A. Herr nee Klohr; children, Gerald Heverling, and spouse, Tracey, Gregory Herr, and spouse, Nikki, Angela Thomas; grandchildren, MacKenzie, Tristen, and Morgan; and sister, Doris Rohrer. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jacob; and siblings, Pauline Martin, Phyllis Moyer, and Walter Herr.
