Eugene C. Wolfe, 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, at his home. He was the husband of Patricia A. Batdorf Wolfe. On Aug. 9, they celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary.

Born in Fredericksburg on Dec. 21, 1942, he was the son of the late Stanley P. and Grace M. Miller Wolfe.

Eugene retired from Alcoa after 30 years of service, where he had worked in maintenance. Following his retirement, he and his wife founded and were the owners and operators of the Agrimachine Shop, a machine shop that catered to the local farmer. For many years, he raised hogs and steers on his farm. He was a member of the Zoar Lutheran Church for over 65 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Timothy E., husband of Josephine A. Wolfe, of Lebanon; brother, Kenneth D., husband of Sharon Wolfe, of Annville; grandchildren, Christian Wolfe, and Latasha and Katina Frymyer; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at the Zoar Lutheran Church, 560 Freeport Road, Lebanon. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church.
