Eugene F. Ditzler, Sr., 76, of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Ethel I. Yordy Ditzler of Jonestown. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary this past December.

Born in Lebanon on May 29, 1944, he was the son of the late Franklin E. and Violet B. Bedleyoung Ditzler. Eugene was a butcher for many years. He enjoyed going to livestock auctions.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Eugene F. Ditzler, Jr. and wife Krista, of Fredericksburg and Edwin L. Ditzler, of Jonestown, and grandchildren Nicole and Evan Ditzler.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
