Eva Cora Crawford, 92, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center in Lebanon.

Formerly of Red Lion, Eva was born on Sept. 5, 1932, in Hellam, to Raymond and Elvier (Kohler) Leiphart.

An accomplished seamstress and an excellent cook, Eva was an effective prayer warrior during her adult life. As illness and dementia restricted her activities in the last six years of her life, Eva stayed consistently happy and a joy to be around. Laughter was an excellent antidote for her many daily challenges. She loved to read aloud, sing, and eat dessert, especially Hershey’s Kisses.

She is survived by her daughter and her stepson, along with their families, and her sister, Norma Doll.

Eva was preceded in death by her first husband, J. Robert Blymire, and her second husband, Arthur Crawford. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Raymond Leiphart Jr., Anna Mae Sechrist, Dorothy Witmer, and Donald Leiphart.

She will be buried next to Robert at Springville Cemetery in Wrightsville. A graveside service to commemorate Mrs. Crawford’s life will take place at Springville Cemetery on Sept. 19, 2024, at 1 p.m.
