Evelyn Sara Betz, 88, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Betz Jr.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on June 28, 1936, Evelyn was a daughter of the late John and Erma (Fahler) Marko.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She loved dogs and enjoyed sewing and reading.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Sharon M. Roth, wife of Richard Jr., Charles R. Betz III, and Gary M. Betz; grandchildren, Joshua Richard Roth, Ryan Derrick Roth, Brandon Michael Betz, and Charles Richard Betz IV; nine great-grandchildren; brother, John Marko, husband of Dara; sister, Anna Mae Conners, wife of Calvin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Marko.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours will be held prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
