Florence E. Zerphey, 98, of Palmyra, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Jacob B. Zerphey and the late Dana Cole.
Born in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Leah (Sanders) Hoffman. Florence loved to clean houses, spend time outdoors, cross-stitch, and put together puzzles. She was a member of Lebanon Valley Bible Church, where she enjoyed attending and watching church online during recent years.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Bechtel, of Palmyra; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Tom Cole; brothers, Elmer Hoffman and William Hoffman; and sisters, Mary Otstot, Pearl Rider, and Marion Hoffman.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at 1 p.m., from Grand View Memorial Park, 500 N. Weaber St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Those wishing to attend, please meet at the cemetery office upon arrival.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, diabetes.org, in her memory.
