Florence M. Moyer, 95, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, at Alpine Valley in Lebanon, PA. She was the wife of Gerald T. Moyer.
Born in Lebanon, PA, on Sept. 6, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Stella Faiola. She graduated from Lebanon Catholic High School in 1948. Florence lived her dream as a wife, mother, and homemaker. And she nailed that trifecta perfectly.
Her life was her family, particularly enjoying her sons’ and grandchildren’s school and sporting events, at which her voice could be heard throughout. As great-grandchildren joined the family, they were treated to her loving support as well. She looked forward to sharing their many religious milestones throughout the years, being most proud of their growth as Catholics, beaming with pride at every one. Florence loved her summers at their beach house at West Bay Park, DE, creating many, many memories.
As a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, and before that, St. Gertrude’s, she was first and foremost a woman of deep faith. Faithfully attending Mass and reciting the Holy Rosary kept her close to our Lord and to our Blessed Mother. The foundation of her faith began as a child at St. Mary’s Church in Lebanon and grew with every year.
Florence is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Gerald; and her sons, Chuck, husband of Aggie, Michael, Scott, and Dave. Her son, Stephen, predeceased her. She is the last of her immediate family.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at St. Cecilia’s Church, 120 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046, with visitation at 10 a.m., followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence’s name may be made to St. Cecelia’s Church at the above address. Thompson Funeral Home’s is entrusted with the arrangements. The family welcomes your memories and messages in Thompson Funeral Home’s online guest book at thompsonfuneralhomelebanon.com.
