Florence M. Vituszynski, 103, went home to the Lord at StoneRidge Towne Center on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Friday, June 4, 1920, to the late William M. Althouse and Edna Althouse nee Hoover in Avon, Pennsylvania.
Florence was a homemaker and dedicated her life to raising her treasured family. She was an active member in her community as a member of the Keenagers of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren, the Avon United Methodist Church, Avon Fire Co. Auxiliary, and Steelworkers Auxiliary, and participated in Relay for Life events. Florence enjoyed crossword puzzles, the Philadelphia Phillies, and reminiscing about the fishing trips she would take with her husband.
She is survived by her children, Larry, and spouse, Suzanne, of Leesport, Michael, and spouse, Diana, of Lebanon, and Rose Marie, of Lebanon; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Marie Graham, of Ocala, Florida.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Zigmond Vituszynski; son, Billie Vituszynski; brothers, Robert Althouse, Eugene Althouse, and Charles Althouse; sisters, Betty Jane Cook, Ruth Ainsworth, and Grace Daub; great-grandchildren Timothy Zohner II and Austan Smith.
A Viewing will be held at Christman’s Funeral Home, 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon, on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 10 AM, followed by Funeral Services starting at 11 AM. Graveside services will be held at Wolf’s Union Meeting House Cemetery in Lebanon.
