Frances Arnt, 89, passed away on Aug. 26, 2025, in Media, PA.

Frances “Franny” Arnt was born on Oct. 12, 1935, in Lebanon, PA, to George and Elizabeth Arnt. Frances was a graduate of Philadelphia’s Overbrook School for the Blind. She went on to work as a self-employed snack bar manager in the Philadelphia area for many years. Frances was blessed to have a son, Robert “Bobby” Boyer.

Frances was a member of the Mount Zion Road Church in Lebanon, and she is remembered fondly by the prayer chain ministry there. Members of the congregation were always surprised and impressed by her powerful bear hugs!

Frances was best known for her love of bingo. An enthusiast for the simple pleasures in life, it brought Frances great joy to go on walks and listen to the birds. She was also a noted dog lover, having been accompanied by several Seeing Eye dogs throughout her life.

Frances is survived by her son, Robert Boyer; and sister, Theresa Arnt-Kale. In addition to her loving parents, Frances is preceded in death by 17 siblings.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made in Frances’s name to Visioncorps.
