Frances Shroyer Bova, 91, of Cornwall, PA, died July 15, 2024, at Cornwall Manor on her terms after a life lived fully with family and friends.

Born on Sept. 7, 1932, she was the daughter of the late David Kreider and Frances (Long) Shroyer.

Frances graduated from Annville High School, Class of 1950, and Lebanon Valley College, Class of 1954. She was a realtor in the Mt. Gretna Office of Penn Realty. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Lebanon.

Frances is survived by her daughters, Nancy Jeanne, wife of Craig Mellinger, of Quarryville, PA, Kristen Louise Der, of Richmond, VA, and Elizabeth Anne, wife of John Syphard, of Ocean View, DE; son, David Robert Bova, and wife, Sherri, of Chester, VA; grandchildren, Craig (Jacquelyn) and Amy Mellinger, David (Allison), Bryan (Sarah), Matthew (Annaliese) Der, and Kathryn (Zachary) Kroko, Joel (Stephanie) and Robert (Kayla) Syphard, and Rebecca (John) Briddell, Thomas and Timothy Bova; sisters, Anne Shemeta, wife of Joe Shemeta (deceased), of Cornwall, PA, and Lois, wife of Richard Smith, of Oil City, PA; 13 beloved great-grandchildren; eight nieces; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, David Kreider Shroyer Jr., and his wife, Mary Swope Shroyer; and granddaughter, Kelsey Jeanne Mellinger.
