He was born in Fayetteville, GA on December 4, 1946. He was the son of the late, Julian Randolph Brown and the late Jewell Trellis Moore Brown.
Known by “Frank” to most. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Papa/Grandpa, and Great-Grandpa. Frank started his own business, Frank Brown Roofing and Siding in the early 70’s. He took such pride in the quality of work he did. His hard-work and steadfast work ethic provided Frank’s business to flourish. He had a talent for working with his hands and loved wood working. Through the years, he had built many pieces of furniture for family and friends.
Frank’s passion was salt water fishing. He loved being at his home in Delaware, fishing off his boat, the beach or the rocks at Indian River Inlet. Known by many at the Old Inlet Bait & Tackle Shop as “Iceman”. He had a knack for catching fish and was a superb fisherman. He was awarded many citations for his large catches. When he wasn’t fishing, you could find him watching a baseball game on TV, bidding at an auction, and selling items on a Wednesday at Leesport. He loved to be busy and made many good friends along the way.
Since January 2021, Frank was at home under hospice care. He soon was bed ridden and cared for daily by his daughter, Jenny; grandson, Hudson; grand dog, Hank; and faithful and dedicated caregivers, Darlene M. and Libby.
