Frank Spier, 94, formerly of Doylestown and most recently of Myerstown, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. He was the husband of Lorraine (Herstine) Spier. They were married on Jan. 19, 1952, and just recently celebrated 73 years of marriage.

Born in Bedminster Township, Bucks County, on Feb. 23, 1931, he was a son of the late Joseph and Gertrude Spier

Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Acme Markets and then the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier in the Doylestown area for many years until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his sons, Frank D., husband of Debra Spier, of Perkiomenville, Thomas R. Spier, and his significant other, Olivia Funghini, of Bethlehem, and Mark A., husband of Nancy Spier, of West Chester; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was pre-deceased by his son, Edward Spier. He was the last of his family.

Viewing with family and friends will be held from 10-11 a.m., with services beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, all to be held at Elias U.C.C., 9 N. Sheridan Road, Newmanstown, PA 17073. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery-Annville.
