Frederick A. “Fred” Thomas, 75, of Palmyra passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Elizabeth A. “Liz” (Slider) Thomas, with whom he would have celebrated 29 years in marriage this February 9th.

Fred was born in Coatesville on June 29, 1944 to the late William H. and Jane (Stoner) Thomas. He was an electrician assistant at the Lukens Steel Mill and worked at the Coatesville VA in the environmental service department. He was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed bowling, watching classic crime shows on TV, reading, playing checkers with his grandson, even teaching his grandson how to play, shopping with his wife Liz, and listening to 1950-1960s music.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Rebecca Englehart, and his grandchildren, Gavin Englehart and Addison Englehart. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Thomas.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 3PM from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA. Interment will be private. There will be a visitation with the family from 2PM – 3PM at the funeral home.
