Frederick “Fred” Paul Berkheimer, 67, of Annville died Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Lebanon, on June 6, 1953, he was the son of the late Kenneth Berkheimer and Dorothy Kerr Berkheimer. He worked in Janitorial Services at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon for 29 years. Fred was a volunteer fireman, an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Notre Dame football, and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church.
Surviving are three brothers, Tim Berkheimer, husband of Cynthia, of Lebanon, Kenneth Berkheimer, husband of Deborah, of Cornwall, Kelly Berkheimer, husband of Lorie, of Lebanon, four sisters, Nancy Wagner, wife of the late Phillip Wagner, of Gretna Springs, Adeline Weik, wife of the late Ralph Weik, of Lancaster, Gertrude Berkheimer, of Annville, Margaret Scholl, wife of Allen, of Annville, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister D. Loretta Kemmler, wife of Edward of Lancaster, and Dianna Winslow, wife of Ralph of Fredericksburg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 125 Spruce St., Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be held at Palmyra Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 5, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 East Main St., Annville, PA 17003.
