Gail A. Alexy, born on June 15, 1942, in Atsion, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Myerstown, PA. She was 83 years old.
Gail was a dedicated beautician and a talented individual known for her warm heart and nurturing spirit. She loved cooking and cherished the time spent boating with her husband in Rock Hall, MD, on the Chesapeake Bay. An avid collector of Hummel figurines, Gail had a passion for finding beauty in the small details of life. Gail was an active member of the Red Hat Society, where she found joy in friendship, camaraderie, and fun activities.
She was a devoted mother to her children, Deborah A. DiLanzo and Steven R. Alexy (Dianne); granddaughter, Taylor Stout (David); step-granddaughter, Chelsea McCrane; great-granddaughter, Mila Stout (the apple of Gail’s eye); sister, Joan Tynan; and several nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, John A. Fischlein and Emma (White) Fischlein; husband, Julius R. Alexy Jr.; and brother-in-law, Robert Alexy.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Lebanon, PA, followed by a memorial mass at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the mass.
