Gary D. Snyder went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Marian L. (Booser) Snyder, to whom he was married since 1995.

Born in Hershey, he was a son of the late Ernest B. and Dora I. (Hubler) Snyder.

Gary was a truck driver by trade with ASK Foods until his retirement. He was a strong conservative and patriot. He enjoyed fishing with his grandson, watching sports, and traveling.

In addition to his wife, Marian, he is survived by his daughter, Cara N. Snyder; one grandson, Alexander J. Snyder; and one brother, Dennis Snyder, and wife, Linda, all of Palmyra.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra McCue.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
