Gary L. Trautman, 71, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Manor Care in Lebanon.

Born in Fredericksburg on March 28, 1950, he was the son of the late Henry G. and Edith E. “Edie” Groff Trautman. Gary retired from Verl’s Salads, where he worked as a cook for 45 years. He was a member of the St. John’s U.C.C. in Fredericksburg.

Gary loved to sing and would sing in barbershop quartets and also with his sister Wendy at many different events.

He is survived by his sisters Eileen F. Hayes, of Lebanon, Brenda T. Good, of Annville and Wendy E. Dorsey, of Fredericksburg, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no viewing or visitation. Burial will be private at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
