Gary S. “Hutch” Hutchinson, 71, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Luanne (Reese) Hutchinson, with whom he celebrated three years of marriage.

Gary was born in Allentown, PA, on April 27, 1954, to the late Lawrence and Marion (Fabian) Hutchinson. He was a graduate of Bloomsburg University. Hutch was the VP of Operations for Sodexo Senior Services and worked for the company for 40 years. He was passionate about the Stop Hunger Initiative and was honored with an organization-wide recognition for his work. He was a member of the Lebanon County Club, where he enjoyed golfing, trivia, and many friendships. He enjoyed going to the casino and watching The Game Show Network, especially Wheel of Fortune! often with candy nearby, as Hutch was known for his sweet tooth. Many people, however, know Hutch for his warm smile, his caring heart, and his dedication to his family and friends.

At the end of the day, his favorite titles will always be Pop Pop and Dad. He cherished the two little additions to his life: Larsey and his namesake, Hutchie. He spoke with his daughter, Allie, every day on her way home from work.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his daughter, Allison (Lars), of Coatesville; grandsons, Lars and Hutch; and brother, Ronald Hutchinson (Debbie), of The Villages, FL.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at 1 p.m., followed by a celebration of life for Gary “Hutch” Hutchinson, all at the Lebanon Country Club, 3375
Oak St., Lebanon. The family will greet guests after the memorial.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, 3908 Corey Road, Harrisburg, PA, 17109, in Hutch’s name.
