Gay Denise (Gabriella) San Severino, 64, of Myerstown, PA, passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was the wife of Richard D. San Severino, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage, having wed on Sept. 17, 1983.

Born in Washington, D.C., on April 25, 1961, Gabriella was the second oldest of eight children. She was a 1979 graduate of Robert E. Peary High School in Rockville, MD. In her youth, she worked in the pro-life movement at the National Right to Life Committee and volunteered serving homeless women in Washington, D.C.

After marriage, she dedicated her life to the loving care of her husband, raising her nine children, and cherishing her 16 grandchildren. She was a beloved wife, mother, and nonna. A faithful Catholic throughout her life, she shared her joy and love of Christ with all those around her.

In addition to her husband, Gabriella is survived by her children, Dominic M. San Severino, husband of Nicole, Francis S. San Severino, husband of Bridget, Marie L., wife of Michael Nuzzolillo, Therese C. San Severino, Anthony J. San Severino, husband of Alyssa, Vincent P. San Severino, husband of Katelyn, Richard G. San Severino, Anne Denise San Severino, and John Paul S. San Severino; siblings, Joy Laurienzo Panza, Jay M. Laurienzo, Jill Laurienzo Coleman, Bruce P. Laurienzo, Brad S. Laurienzo, Dawn M. Laurienzo, and Claire Laurienzo Monday; 16 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Sharron (Grommon) Laurienzo; and son, Laurence Roger San Severino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Mary Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, 188 W. McKinley Ave., Myerstown, PA. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery, Lebanon.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
