George E. Fies, Sr., 79, of Palmyra died Sunday, March 27, 2022, at his residence.

Born in Lebanon on February 19th, 1943, he was the son of the late James Fies and Mary M. Cox. George was a Veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving is a son, George E. Fies, Jr. of Lebanon, a daughter, Anna M. Fies of Lebanon, a stepdaughter, Dawn M. Lyons, wife of Scott of Annville, two sisters, Mary and Donna, several grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

George is preceded in death by his brother, Jim Fies.

A public visitation will be held from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Monday, April 4th, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. Graveside services with military honors will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Monday following the visitation.
