George M. Nicolaisen, 94, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at Alpine Valley Post Acute and Healthcare Center, Lebanon. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace I. (Strausser) Nicolaisen.
Born in Barnegat City, NJ, on Oct. 29, 1930, he was the son of the late Conrad and Leoni (Peddle) Nicolaisen.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four children, Alan Nicolaisen, husband of Denise, of South Carolina, Daniel Nicolaisen, husband of Diana, of Delaware, Jill Nicolaisen, of Stewartstown, and Amy Buckley, wife of Robert, of Florida; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his five children, Lila Nicolaisen; son, Ryan Nicolaisen; brothers, Albert Nicolaisen and Conrad Nicolaisen; and granddaughter, Jennifer Repetto.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, from 9-11 a.m., at South Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Church. Interment will be held in Midway Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
