George “Pete” Pedia, 84, of Lebanon passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

Born in Lebanon on April 12, 1937, he was the son of the late Kiro and Stella (Angeloff) Pedia. He graduated from South Lebanon High School (Iona) with the class of 1955. He served in the U.S. Army and then went on to work at Buell Engineers as a contract administrator. He also started his own business as a tax preparer and bookkeeper. George enjoyed playing guitar, enjoyed multiple trips to Gettysburg Civil War battlefields (going every year on his birthday), flying, nature, and working around his home.

He is survived by his son, Daniel E. Pedia, Sr. and his wife Helga, of Annville; daughter Cindy wife of Steve Seiger, of Lebanon; grandchildren Ryan, Zachary and Daniel Jr.; sister Margaret DeDonatis, of Hershey; nephew Nathan Pedia, of Lebanon and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Miller “Mick” Pedia and Thomas Pedia.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors.
