George W. Houtz, Sr., 79, of Annville passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of Hazel M. “Nancy” (Reber) Houtz to whom he was married for 47 years.
Born in Lebanon he was a son of the late Ernest W. and Christine M. (Minnich) Houtz.
George worked as a health physics technician and was a veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 12 children; 45 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a brother and a sister also survive.
George was preceded in death by a younger brother.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 9 AM from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
