Gerald J. Edris, 84, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.
Born in Frystown on March 16, 1937, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Dorothy Rhoade Edris.
He was the owner and operator of Edris Contracting, a painting and crane business. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Lodge No. 226, the Harrisburg Zembo Shrine, the Palmyra Sportsman Club and had been a former member and president of the North Lebanon Twp. Lion’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, big game hunting in Canada and the Rockies, and he especially enjoyed going to his camp in Tioga Co.
He is survived by his long-time companion of 44 years, Kathleen M. Arnold; daughters Victoria A. Hubbard of Bethlehem, Constance J. Lewis of MD and Cassandra Leonard of Lebanon; son Gerald husband of Roberta Katz of New Lebanon, NY; grandchildren Nicole and Christopher Hubbard, Sarah and Calvin Leonard and Rebecca Katz; and sisters Eleanor Baylor of Lebanon, Geraldine Bowman of Palmyra, Barbara Sheaffer of Lebanon and Nancy Young of Wernersville.
Graveside services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
