Gerald W. Henning, 89, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline H. (Kissinger) Henning.

Born in Lebanon on Sept. 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Webster and Annie (Elliot) Henning. Gerald retired from the Lebanon Steel Foundry, where he worked as a pattern maker. He was an avid bowler and won many awards and trophies. He loved playing poker and pinochle. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, and Penn State football. He also enjoyed going to Disney World and listening to country music, especially Merle Haggard. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, David S. Henning, of Lebanon, Gerald M. Henning, of Ephrata, and Steven D., husband of Kara Henning, of Bethel; daughters, Carol A., wife of Kevin Wike, of Gold Canyon, AZ, Linda M. O’Reilly, wife of Bernard Stumpf, of Heidelberg, Germany, Sharon L., wife of Edward Miller, of Lebanon, and Barbara Heverling, of Lebanon; and 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Township.
