Geraldine B. “Betty” Bachman, 97, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Elmer E. Bachman, who passed away in July 2015, for 59 years.

Betty was born in Kleinfeltersville on Oct. 20, 1926, to the late Clarence and Florence (Ream) Ruth.

She worked at the sewing factory for 10 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Fontana Christian Fellowship Church and Fontana Union Sunday School. She sang in the church choir and, many years ago, sang in a lady’s quartette. She was a member of the farm women and book club in her younger days. She enjoyed baking, especially her shoefly pies, loving her cats, crocheting afghans, and, more recently, making sequined calendars and banners for her family and friends.

Surviving are her daughters, Joyce Gardner (Chris), of Fredericksburg, and Janice Sellers (Glenn), of Lebanon; grandchildren, Kevin Ebersole and Eric Boyer; step-grandsons, TJ and Michael Gardner; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Kaiden, and Ella Boyer; and step-great-grandchildren, Skyler and Thomas Gardner.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. A graveside will follow at South Annville Cemetery, Annville.
