Geraldine K. “Gerry” Sechrist, 96, passed away on June 7, 2024, at Spang Crest Manor.

Geraldine Sechrist was born on June 11, 1927, in West Reading, PA, to Harold Ebright and Mary Ebright (Carpenter).

Gerry was a homemaker and was active in Rexmont Evangelical Congregational Church as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, and pianist. Gerry was the unofficial church historian.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Richard) Pankake and Susan (Diehl) Snyder; sons, Harry Sechrist and Harold (Joan) Sechrist; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Alma (William) Stober; and brother, Richard Ebright.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Sechrist; and siblings, Carl Ebright, Nancy Loser, Mary Conrad, and Harold Ebright.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Quentin (Bismarck) Cemetery, North Lebanon Street, Quentin. A celebration of life will be held on Aug. 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Rexmont Evangelical Congregational Church.
