Gertrude M. “Trudy” Trautman, 93, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at The Gardens at West Shore. She was the wife of the late Ralph W. Trautman.

Born in Lebanon on Mar. 22, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elsie Peters Dietz. Trudy was the owner/operator of Lobby Central in Harrisburg, where she had worked as a lobbyist. She was an LPN. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lickdale. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and had been very active in the Red Cross. During WWII, she was a member of the USO. She, along with her husband, loved to travel and traveled all over the world, and throughout the U.S with their RV.

She is survived by her son, Gary L., husband of Lori Jo Trautman, of Lancaster, grandchildren, Timothy, husband of Becci Trautman, and Laura, wife of Bob Schneider, great-grandchildren, Samara and Brielle Trautman, and Lily, Max, and Benjamin Schneider, and daughter-in-law, Yvonne Trautman. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry A. Trautman.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
