Gladys Cruz, 83, of Lebanon, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Cedar Haven.

She was born on Friday, February 25, 1938, to the late Miguel Gonzalez and Crucita Gonzalez nee Arce in Puerto Rico. She was a member of St. Benedict (the Abbot) Catholic Church and worked as a housekeeper in New York hotels. Gladys was very involved with the church, including groups and helping with festivals. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing the lottery.

Surviving is children Pedro Cruz and spouse Beth, Carlos Lavarro; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Pedro Cruz.

Viewing will be on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 6-8:00 PM at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.

Funeral Mass will be on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 12:00 PM at St. Benedict (the Abbot) Catholic Church, Lebanon, with viewing at 11:00 AM.

Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
